What is AceSEO?
AceSEO is a free collection of 30 SEO and website tools. You can look up WHOIS and DNS records, find out where a site is hosted, check spam blacklists, analyse meta tags and keyword density, find broken links and measure page size and speed - all in the browser, without creating an account.
Are the tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on AceSEO is free to use and needs no sign-up or API key. The site is supported by advertising.
How do you make sure the tools work?
An automated monitor runs every tool with a known test input each day and checks that the answer is correct - for example that the MD5 of "hello" is right and that google.com resolves to Google's name servers. A tool that fails twice in a row is taken offline until it passes again, and each tool page shows when it was last verified.
Where does the data come from?
Results are generated live when you run a check: WHOIS from the official registry servers, DNS from public resolvers, hosting owners from the regional internet registries (RDAP), blacklist status from the blacklists themselves, and page analysis from the URL you enter.
Can I check a website I do not own?
Yes. The tools only read public information - the same data any browser, search engine or registry lookup can see.
